We have started homeschool! I never thought I would be teaching my own child at home, but for whatever reason, we started our adventure this week. He has done great!
Monday started with a celebratory breakfast of his choosing-chocolate chip pancakes.
We continued our first day by beginning an "All About Me" lapbook. For fun, I let him stay in his pj's for school, which was a hit! He enjoyed filling in information about is likes, his family and friends. He asked if he could make one for all of his friends. And, the day ended with my sweet boy saying, "Thank you Mommy for teaching me at homeshool." No prompting, he came up with that one on his own.
Here is a short video of our first day of SEEK, one of our homeschool co-ops. Jackson had a blast. He is taking two classes, one about Dr. Suess and the other about America.

Looks like it was fun day :) My sister homeschools her 3 kids and it's been a really great experience for them.
Hey how in the world were you driving and taping at the same time!!! You must have skills! I am so glad that you are both enjoying your homeschooling so far. Tell Jackson congratulations on being a big Kindergartener!
